About this Event
The Build Better: Social Enterprise Monthly Member Meet Up is an opportunity to explore social innovation, meet other social entrepreneurs in the EDGE community and have impactful conversations about topics to help you build your social impact venture. This month we are delighted to have special guest, social entrepreneur and tea sommelier Sheena Brady, Founder and CEO of e-commerce company Tease Tea and Founder of Founders Fund. Join us for an informal and interactive session moderated by EDGE member, Maya Saggar (Founder of LCI Movement) and an opportunity to hear Sheena’s entrepreneurial journey of launching a social enterprise, running, funding and growing an e-commerce company and why she launched The Founders Fund.
Sheena Brady, Founder Tease Tea & The Founders Fund
Sheena Brady is an award-winning, serial social entrepreneur & professional Tea Sommelier. Established in 2013, Sheena is the founder and CEO of the e-commerce company, Tease Tea, an all-natural and sustainably sourced loose-leaf tea company based in Ottawa, Canada that gives back to programs that empower women. Today, she has grown this side hustle into a 7-figure company that serves customers in over 30 countries around the world while working in leadership at Shopify. Through their giveback program, Tease Tea has contributed over $150,000 in product and financial support to date, including their very own Founders Fund program, with a mission to elevate women identifying entrepreneurs. The Founders Fund has since grown into its own social enterprise as Canada’s first tech company & digital growth accelerator that provides women with access to funding, mentorship and resources to grow their businesses.
