Sheridan EDGE Participates in an Event with Hon. Minister Tassi and MPs to Champion Women Entrepreneurs.

On March 7, in advance of International Women’s Day, we participated in an engagement session with the Hon. Filomena Tassi, MP (Hamilton West—Ancaster—Dundas), Hon. Anita Indira Anand, MP (Oakville), Hon. Minister Karina Gould, MP (Burlington), Adam van Koeverden, MP (Milton) and Pam Damoff, MP (Oakville North—Burlington) to meet with young women entrepreneurs from across the Golden Horseshoe.

We discussed the challenges young women entrepreneurs faced and the importance of mentorship, access to capital and peer connections. At EDGE, we know that supporting women entrepreneurs means supporting our community and society and positively strengthening our economy.
