Compensation requested:

I’m studying project management at Sheridan College and for the following term (January to April/24), I must do a capstone project with a Canadian company for the learning experience.
I am looking for a company/startup that is interested in receiving a group of students to manage a project following PMP standards for free. Although it is a formal project graded by Sheridan College all information shared with the students is confidential, and the client owns the deliverable intellectual property.

There are two types of possible capstone projects:
1) Unique final product:
a. New product/service: The group creates a new final product deliverable(s) that the client asks of them. The group project manages its creation.
b. New business result/significant improvement: The group creates a significant improvement to an existing product/service/process/etc as the final product deliverable(s) the client asks of the group. The group project manages its creation.

2) Projectize an Event:
a. an organization that wants to do a NEW event; the client wants it created and professionally project managed. As a project team, the group will run it for the organization, leaving behind a second product deliverable, a complete Professional project management package for them to take as a starting point next year.
b. an organization with an annual (or semi-annual) event that wants significantly improved; effectiveness and efficiency… the organization wants it professionally project managed. As a project team, the group will run it for the organization, leaving behind a second product deliverable, a complete Professional project management package for them to take as a starting point next year.
