Sheridan EDGE Welcomes Inaugural Cohort of Rise

Highlights from the welcome session of the first cohort of Rise.

On March 20, Sheridan EDGE welcomed 18 social purpose ventures led by incredible changemakers to the first cohort of Rise.

At the Welcome Session, led by Renee Devereaux, Director of EDGE, and Leonard Dalipi, Program Manager at EDGE, participants had the opportunity to meet their fellow cohort members and familiarize themselves with the program structure. They also had the chance to connect with their dedicated coaches, Mark Rodford, Dihan Chandra, and Fatima Gould. Over the next eight months, these coaches will be working closely with our social entrepreneurs, providing them with personalized guidance and support.

Our Rise entrepreneurs will receive customized coaching, join a supportive community, get guidance from experienced Sheridan faculty members, and expand their networks while accelerating the growth of their impact enterprises.

Rise is a program for social entrepreneurs ready to scale their impact enterprises at an accelerated pace. This project is funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario).
