Description of Opportunity:
The Scholarship Whizz is seeking to enhance its online presence by collaborating with students to create engaging digital marketing content. The primary objective is to develop content that effectively connects with students seeking scholarship opportunities, thereby increasing website traffic and user engagement. This project will allow students to apply their knowledge of digital marketing strategies and content creation techniques learned in the classroom. The focus will be on crafting compelling narratives and visuals that resonate with the target audience, ultimately driving more users to The Scholarship Whizz’s services. Students will work on closely related tasks such as content ideation, creation, and optimization for various digital platforms. The project is designed to be completed by a marketing intern within 60 hours, ensuring a focused and efficient approach. |
Requirements:
1. Writing: Strong writing skills for blog posts, social media captions, and video scripts that are engaging and tailored to the target audience. 2. Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with students seeking scholarship opportunities. 3. Visual Design: Basic design skills to create eye-catching visuals for social media posts and blog content. Familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Spark can be beneficial. Digital Marketing Knowledge: 4. Social Media Strategy: Understanding how to leverage social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) to engage with the target audience and promote content effectively. 5. SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Knowledge of optimizing content for search engines to increase website traffic (especially for blog posts). 6. Content Optimization: Understanding how to optimize content for different platforms (e.g., blog formatting, social media image sizes, video length for different channels). 7. Performance Tracking: Familiarity with using analytics tools to track engagement and website traffic to measure the success of content. |
