Description of Opportunity:

Bookkeeper / Finance Support professional to ensure our finances remain clear, accurate, and organized as we grow.
The Bookkeeper / Finance Support will manage financial records, track expenses and income, and provide the Founder with clear financial insights. This role is key in maintaining financial health, compliance, and transparency while allowing the brand to scale sustainably.

Key Responsibilities:
* Record and categorize income, expenses, and transactions.
* Maintain and reconcile accounts using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Wave).
* Prepare simple financial reports and summaries for the Founder.
* File taxes and HST
* Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and forecasting.
* Manage invoices and receipts (client and vendor).
* Ensure compliance with financial policies and tax requirements.
* Support with payroll preparation (as the team grows).

 

Requirements:

* Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance support.
* Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, or similar).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Experience working with small businesses or startups is an asset.
* Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet.
* Organized and proactive — keeps things running smoothly.
* Comfortable working independently and providing guidance.
* Excited to support a wellness-focused, growing company.

Position Required Availability: Volunteer role, Full-time, Hybrid
